James 1:22 (NKJV) says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Guys, hearing and knowledge are not enough. Obedience is what matters.
In “The Parable of the Talents” from Matthew 25, the servants were each entrusted with different amounts of money, and they were judged not by how much they received, but by what they did with it.
If you’re hungry for more of Jesus, He will meet you where you are. You don’t have to clean yourself up first—you just have to come. This isn’t about striving; it’s about surrender. He has already given His all, making everything He has promised available to every believer. Ask Him for the fire of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him for power, for purity, for purpose. Don’t waste another moment. Be a steward of His presence, His power, and your life.
Because in the end, you won’t answer for what you knew. You’ll answer for what you did with what you were given. So burn bright for Him.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.”
2 CORINTHIANS 5:10 (NKJV)
Challenge for Today: Surrender your whole life again to Jesus, recommitting yourself to His Lordship, His ways. Ask Him to burn away every distraction.
